We work each day to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. All our production sites are certified zero waste to landfill and we are powered by renewable electricity. We design for recycling using up to 100% rPET material blends and even Prevented Ocean Plastic (POP) rPET. That’s packaging with a purpose.
We actively work with suppliers, customers, and contractors to improve their environmental performance and source only from suppliers who meet our code of conduct.
We design our sustainable food packaging products for recyclability and encourage the use of materials that promote closed-loop recycling, as well as continually seeking to reduce the amount of material used in our products through downgauging.
Not only do we seek to reduce the amount of energy used in our manufacturing processes, but we also pay extra to ensure the electricity that powers our two UK production sites is generated from renewable resources.
In line with our sustainability goals, our Arklow site has been running using green energy since 2024, reducing our environmental impact.
In 2025, we were proud to achieve our fifth consecutive Zero Waste to Landfill certification across all our production sites
We continually evaluate operations to minimise waste and ensure we are as efficient as possible. All staff receive waste training including plastic segregation in their induction when they first start and participate in ongoing refresher courses.
Any waste remaining after reducing, reusing, or recycling is sent to Waste to Energy plants for incineration and bioenergy production.
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our operations through active membership in leading environmental trade associations, such as the British Plastics Federation (BPF) and the Packaging Federation (PackFed).
RecyCLASS guidelines are rules we follow when designing new food packaging products to help our customers make an informed choice about how their products will be treated at disposal. This cross-industry initiative aims to promote high-quality recycling and increase the uptake of recyclates in the market.
